Power outage planned near Ely and Tower

Grand Rapids, MN –Lake Country Power members in the Ely and Tower area will be without power starting 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 29. The cooperative will be setting a new pole near the Clear Lake Substation.

The outage will last 1 ½ hours and will affect members on Robinson Lake, south along Highway 169 to Tower, including Clear Lake, Armstrong Lake, Eagles Nest, Bearhead, Six Mile Lake and Armstrong Bay on Lake Vermilion. 

Power is expected to be restored by 10:30 a.m. for 442 members.
