There are seven candidates running for the 2010 election: 

• District 2: Jack Huhta, Gilbert and Charlie Mistek, Ely*
• District 4: Craig Carlson, Grand Rapids; Michael Hughes, Bovey; and Carter Pettersen, Grand Rapids*  
• District 8: Jim Huhta, Cromwell and Danny Smith, Tamarack*

Ballots will be mailed to members in Districts 2, 4 and 8 the week of May 18.

The election results will be presented June 5 at the annual meeting, which will be held at the Vermilion Family Wellness Center in Tower. The facility is located down the road about one mile from Fortune Bay Resort.

Registration begins 8:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
